A self-initiated project, I saw the opportunity to create a special 1 of 1 hand-customised away kit as a gift for Travis Scott ahead of his ‘UTOPIA - Circus Maximus Tour’ at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Travis Scott’s ‘Cactus Jack’ record label has a desirable and popular apparel range, characterised by a distinct visual style and high-profile collaborations. His own tour merchandise is extremely sought-after in street fashion circles, and the logo and branding carries a lot of prestige.

With permission from Nike, I concepted and hand-painted an away kit with the Cactus Jack brand to be left in a club-branded presentation box for Travis Scott in his dressing room at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the day of his performance.

The centralised design of the away shirt lent itself nicely to incorporating Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack smiley face logo, bringing visual balance to the front of the shirt. The handwritten logo takes the place of the traditional nameset, making use of the space on the back. The final shirt was hand-painted using Pebeo Setacolor fabric paints.

The activation around the concert received unprecedented traction on social media and showed the potential and power for brands in alignment and cultural activations between sport, music and fashion.
